Program Spotlight:

Explore the Delivery of Care in Today’s Healthcare Environment

A new report from McKinsey & Company indicates that patient demand for telehealth is persistent and growing, but it also found that physicians are concerned about the long-term sustainability of telehealth, citing a preference for a return to care provided in-person. Despite the uncertainty around what role telehealth will play in the delivery of care, it’s clear that how the healthcare field delivers care is a hot topic in today’s environment.

This spring, healthcare leaders will have ample opportunity to learn about changes in healthcare delivery at the 2022 Congress on Healthcare Leadership, March 28–31, and the Virtual Leadership Symposium, April 11–12. Following are previews of delivery of care-focused sessions at both events.

Congress on Healthcare Leadership:

Virtual Leadership Symposium:

Congress registrants who are interested in attending the Virtual Leadership Symposium can register for that event with a discount of more than 50% off the regular fee by adding it to their in-person Congress registration, or they can register separately just for the Virtual Leadership Symposium.

Donations to Assist Ukraine and Its Refugees

As the horror of the war in Ukraine continues to unfold, ACHE would like to share information from the American Hospital Association about how to provide assistance.

On March 2, the AHA released a special bulletin about how to provide critical humanitarian and refugee assistance needed in Ukraine. The bulletin includes information about the U.S. Ukraine Foundation, a 30-year-old organization that supports the people of Ukraine in their quest for freedom, democracy, a free market economy and human rights. It has established a fund to provide financial support for humanitarian efforts, including covering the costs of sending medical supplies to Ukraine. The fund also supports refugees through the Kyiv Rotary Refugee initiative. Please refer to the AHA special bulletin to learn more about how to assist Ukraine.
