Celebrate Hope and Healing During National Hospital Week
Join the American Hospital Association in celebrating hospitals and health systems during National Hospital Week.
This week serves as an annual opportunity to thank all of the dedicated individuals—physicians, nurses, therapists, engineers, food service workers, volunteers, administrators and many more—for supporting the health and well-being of their communities.
AHA resources are available to help you celebrate. You can download the digital toolkit for messages and graphics to promote your organization’s events and efforts, and the #MyHospital template for the National Hospital Week social media campaign. In addition, AHA invites you to change your social media profile image to the blue hospital “H,” which is available to download for Facebook and Twitter. Lastly, do not forget to join AHA’s National Hospital Week Twitter Chat on May 16.

Measles Toolkit Now Available for Healthcare Providers
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has released a toolkit to help organizations address the current measles outbreak.
With more than 760 measles cases reported since January, the toolkit, which includes a fact sheet, poster and other resources, is intended to help providers talk with parents about the measles vaccine.
On April 29, officials with the CDC and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services urged vaccination for all eligible children and high-risk adults, including travelers and healthcare workers.
Additionally, CDC measles experts will host a call with clinicians about the recent outbreak on May 21,
2 p.m. Eastern time. Visit https://emergency.cdc.gov/coca/calls/ to learn more about the call.
