Program Spotlight:
Boost Your Financial or Ambulatory Management Knowledge
Gain strong financial grounding or explore how ambulatory models optimize clinical outcomes while earning 12 ACHE Face-to-Face Education credits during the Orlando Cluster, Dec. 9–12.
When you attend “Key Financial Principles for the Nonfinancial Healthcare Executive,” financial experts Jeff Rooney and Charmaine S. Rochester, DHA, CPA, FACHE, will help you gain a deeper understanding of how to converse and work with financial leaders by reviewing concepts associated with population health contracts, cost sharing and risk management. During this new seminar, you will analyze the impact of today’s financial environment on your organization’s ability to pursue major capital projects, and examine financial approaches and regulations associated with mergers and acquisitions.
During “Optimizing Ambulatory Management for the 21st Century”—another new seminar—you will review a cross section of today’s ambulatory models and examine the evolving leadership skills that will be needed to optimize their performance. Expert faculty Jon Burroughs, MD, FACHE, will explain the mandate to move traditional clinical services into the ambulatory setting, and the opportunity that this provides to create new, innovative clinical and business models.
