Healthcare executives capable of staying resilient in challenging times are in a better position to support staff morale and sustain performance improvement and quality. In this webinar, you will examine practices designed to build a leader’s resilience through maintaining self-awareness, finding alone time, staying mindful and keeping a healthy perspective.
The faculty, Robert J. Wicks, PsyD, and Tina C. Buck, will demonstrate how to weigh the personal and organizational costs of burnout and how to lessen vulnerability. Dr. Wicks, who led a popular Hot Topic session on resiliency at the 2013 Congress on Healthcare Leadership, has published more than 50 books, including Bounce: Living the Resilient Life and Perspective: The Calm Within the Storm. Ms. Buck, group facilitator for the Abused Persons Program in Montgomery County, Maryland, recently spoke at the Kennedy Krieger Fourth Biennial Trauma Conference.
