Frankie Perry, RN, LFACHE
Frankie Perry, RN, LFACHE, has held senior positions in both nursing and hospital administration. She served as assistant director of Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Mich., and served on the board of directors for the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). In addition to her hospital experience, she served as executive vice president of ACHE and as a national and international healthcare consultant with engagements in Cairo; Doha, Qatar; and Bombay, India, among other cities.
Perry is a well-published author of articles on ethics and healthcare management, including several books and an ACHE Self-Study Course titled “Healthcare Leadership That Makes a Difference: Creating Your Legacy.” She was a 1984 recipient of the Edgar C. Hayhow Award for Article of the Year by the American College of Hospital Administrators. In 2008, she was the recipient of the ACHE Regent’s Award. In 2011, she was the recipient of the ACHE Lifetime Service Award.
Perry currently serves as faculty for the University of New Mexico.
