Graduate Student Scholarships Extended Deadline Approaching

This is the final week to apply for the 2020 Dent and McGaw scholarships before the April 30 extended deadline. Offered annually, the Albert W. Dent and Foster G. McGaw Graduate Student Scholarships are awarded to outstanding students enrolled in health services administration graduate programs to help finance their education. Each scholarship is worth $5,000. Responding to the COVID-19 Patient Surge

As the world navigates COVID-19, the healthcare landscape is changing at lightning speed. It’s critical for our field to be ready to care for a surge of patients—whether they’re in a hospital or inside a convention center—and other concurrent issues such as supply shortages, limited testing and clinician burnout. 2020 IHF Award Entries Due May 15

The 2020 International Hospital Federation Awards is accepting submissions of projects or programs with achievements, results or outcomes that demonstrate innovation and/or excellence. IHF invites hospitals and other healthcare organizations around the world to submit entries by the May 15 deadline. This year’s award categories include:

IHF/Dr. Kwang Tae Kim Grand Award
Open only to IHF full and associate members and their healthcare provider members (this includes ACHE’s members), this award recognizes excellence and achievements with proven results at the health system or facility level in multiple areas.

IHF Excellence Awards
Open to IHF member and nonmember public and private healthcare provider organizations, these awards recognize excellence or outstanding achievements in several fields.
