Redeem Points Earned for Sharing the Value of ACHE
As the year ends, be sure to redeem points earned through the Leader-to-Leader Rewards Program before they expire Dec. 31. If you referred colleagues to become members last year, you not only helped to build a more diverse and inclusive ACHE community, but you earned points for Leader-to-Leader Rewards.
To earn points, list your name as the referral on a new member application or on an FACHE® application. Once the membership is activated or all Fellow requirements have been met, you will receive points to redeem for rewards such as an ACHE-branded travel mug, a customizable coaster set or a computer briefcase. Points expire the year after they are earned on Dec. 31.
Please note that Leader-to-Leader points cannot be earned by referring a member suspended in 2019 to rejoin. If you have any questions, please contact the Customer Service Center at (312) 424-9400 or email contact@ache.org.

C-Suite Perspectives on Consumerism in the New Frontiers
“In the face of increasing competition, regulatory challenges and cost pressures, healthcare must work to engage and empower the consumer,” writes the author of an article in the winter 2019 issue of Frontiers of Health Services Management.
In “A Changing World Demands Care That Takes a Consumer-Centric Approach,” Edmondo Robinson, chief transformation officer, Christiana Care Health System, Wilmington, Del., advises CEOs to initiate and champion the shift to consumerism in their own organizations.
This issue features the perspectives of Robinson and other healthcare leaders who are listening and responding to consumer demands, and examples of initiatives their hospitals and health systems are implementing to assist patient-consumers in making vital care decisions.
Read more from the new Frontiers to learn how organizations can listen, assess and understand consumer expectations, and then innovate and develop strategies to succeed.
