On Tuesday, March 26, at the Congress on Healthcare Leadership, you’ll hear from our panel of experts as they discuss how the ongoing crises, compounded with moral distress, are putting an enormous strain on the healthcare workforce.

During this session, “Leadership Insights: Addressing Workplace Violence in Healthcare Organizations,” the speakers underscore the need to focus on improving the healthcare environment, now more than ever before, so that it is a place where employees and patients not only feel safe, but where they can also thrive.

Join this innovative group of presenters as they discuss how they are working to stem workplace violence in hospitals and health systems, while fostering safe workplaces where health and well-being are at the forefront. They will identify strategies for mitigating violence in hospitals and health systems to create safe environments for all.

The symposium speakers include: Kimberly Browne, LCSW, executive director, patient and family services; Stanford Medicine Children's Health , Steve Hernandez, CEO The North Group; and Randy Stephan, vice president, security services, MaineHealth. To learn more or register, visit ache.org/Congress.
