ACHE Call for Nominations for the 2024 Slate

ACHE’s 2023–2024 Nominating Committee is calling for applications for service beginning in 2024. ACHE Fellows are eligible for the Chair-Elect and Governor vacancies as well as the Nominating Committee vacancies within their districts. Those interested in pursuing applications should review the candidate guidelines for the competencies and qualifications required for these important roles. Open positions on the slate include:

  • Nominating Committee Member, District 1 (two-year term ending in 2026)
  • Nominating Committee Member, District 4 (two-year term ending in 2026)
  • Nominating Committee Member, District 5 (two-year term ending in 2026)
  • Four Governors (three-year terms ending in 2027)
  • Chair-Elect

Applications to serve and self-nominations must be submitted electronically to krock@ache.org and must be received by July 28. Composed of three virtual modules in February/March, April and May, the Virtual Executive Program helps the next generation of leaders prepare for the complex, ever-changing healthcare environment while earning 40 ACHE Face-to-Face Education and interprofessional continuing education credits.   • Experience the challenges of executive leadership and strategic decision-making with the Health System Simulation program. Offered Feb. 23–25, April 20–22 and June 22–24 in collaboration with Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, this unique two-day learning experience emulates the full breadth and complexity of leadership in today’s competitive marketplace. The program also offers participants the opportunity to earn 21 ACHE Face-to-Face Education and interprofessional continuing education credits.
  • Let ACHE bring our experts to you with Choice, our tailored professional development series designed to meet the specific needs of executive teams. Choice offers flexible planning and pricing for virtual face-to-face and in-person programs, both of which qualify for ACHE Face-to-Face Education credit. ACHE Policy Statements and Code of Ethics Updated

The Board of Governors approved at its December meeting changes to four existing ACHE Policy Statements, including the ACHE Statement on Diversity; three Ethical Policy Statements; and the Code of Ethics suggested by subject matter experts to the Board Policy Committee. The committee revised statements to reflect updates to data, terminology and language; to incorporate contemporary solutions and current, real-life healthcare leadership experience; and to clarify ACHE’s position in certain policy positions and to ensure they reflect ACHE’s values. The following statements were updated:
