Former Astronaut to Speak at Latino Leadership Summit

Former NASA astronaut José Moreno Hernandez will be a featured keynote speaker at the upcoming National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives 7th Annual Leadership Summit Sept. 11–13 in Irving, Texas. Featured in the 2023 NETFLIX biopic “A Million Miles Away,” Hernandez will be sharing his story of perseverance and his secrets to success.

More than 35 thought leaders and industry experts will delve into pressing healthcare leadership issues and examine revolutionary strategies, offering ways to reshape the healthcare landscape. Attendees can expect empowering sessions on healthcare transformation with this year’s theme of “Inspire. Innovate. Impact!”

Virtual Live Session: Building Foundations of Trust

“Our goal is to support leaders in using an evidence-based approach to maximizing the human margin,” write Katherine A. Meese, PhD, and Quint Studer in their book The Human Margin: Building the Foundations of Trust. The authors have uncovered what today’s healthcare workforce really wants and what’s at the heart of everything: trust in leadership.
