ACHE Would Like Your Input on Our Strategic Plan
ACHE annually examines its Strategic Plan with a continuing focus on meeting the evolving needs of our members and the healthcare leadership field. The three-year Strategic Plan focuses on ACHE’s roles as a catalyst for the field, connector of leaders across the continuum of care and a trusted partner to our members. This year, the Board of Governors will undertake a thorough review of the plan to ensure the relevancy of our vision, mission, values and strategic initiatives. If you would like to provide your feedback, please take a moment to review the 2021–2023 Strategic Plan and send us your thoughts, comments and ideas for improvement. Please direct your email response to the ACHE Executive Office at strategicplan@ache.org. The deadline for comments is June 7.

Mental Health: Medicare Covers Preventive Services
In recognition of Mental Health Month, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services is reminding healthcare professionals that Medicare covers mental health preventive services. These include initial preventive physical examination, annual wellness visits and depression screenings. Additionally, patients pay nothing if you, their provider, accept assignment. During the month of May, which is recognized as Mental Health Month, CMS encourages providers to talk to your patients about their emotional, psychological and social well-being.
