Richard D. Cordova, FACHE, Nominated Chairman-Elect of ACHE
CHICAGO, December 16, 2013—Richard D. Cordova, FACHE, president and CEO, Children's Hospital Los Angeles, has been nominated as the 2014-2015 Chairman-Elect of the American College of Healthcare Executives, an international professional society of more than 40,000 healthcare executives.
The election will take place at the Council of Regents Meeting preceding ACHE's 57th Congress on Healthcare Leadership in Chicago, March 24-27, 2014. If elected, Cordova will serve the first part of a three-year term in ACHEâ€™s consecutive chairmanship offices: Chairman-Elect, Chairman and Immediate Past Chairman.
Board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow, Cordova has served as an ACHE Governor since 2011. He also has served on numerous ACHE committees and is a past chair of the Institute for Diversity in Health Management, which ACHE co-founded.
