    <p>Anita Halvorsen, FACHE, is senior vice president, Executive Engagement, American College of Healthcare Executives in Chicago. The role encompasses the oversight of membership and credentialing of the 51,000 healthcare executive members of the professional association. Additionally, Ms. Halvorsen leads the Customer Service Center, the Career Resource Center and Research and has responsibility over diversity and inclusion, strategic partnerships, and numerous forum memberships. Prior to ACHE, Ms. Halvorsen was a regional strategy and growth officer for Presence Health in Chicago. She served as an ACHE Regent from 2014 to 2016. Before assuming progressive executive leadership roles in several healthcare organizations, Ms. Halvorsen worked as a speech-language pathologist.</p>

He has served as an executive search consultant and partner with Witt/Kieffer, TMP Worldwide, and LAI/Lamalie Associates. Prior to these roles, he was partner and director of Findley Davies’s healthcare consulting division in Toledo, Ohio. He has 20 years of experience in healthcare administration, serving in executive-level positions at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Clermont Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati, and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.&nbsp;<br><br>Mr. Dye has been a regular faculty member for the American College of Healthcare Executives since 1987 and has presented workshops for 40 state and local hospital associations.     Author

    <p>Sarah Freymann Fontenot, JD, served as the adjunct professor for health law in the Department of Health Care Administration at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas for 26 years and retired in 2023. A former nurse and practicing attorney, she is also a professional speaker who specializes in explaining how healthcare is evolving and what those changes mean for providers. Fontenot also has taught extensively for physician organizations including the Texas Medical Association and for ACHE since 2007, for which she is an online instructor for the Board of Governors Examination Review course, Health Law Essentials. Previously, Fontenot taught in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at Yale Medical School in New Haven, Connecticut. </p>

    <p>Gina T. LaMantia, FACHE recently held the position of director, Career Resource Center, ACHE. Her career spans more than 25 years in healthcare, covering a variety of professional settings, including academia, professional association, regulatory compliance, consulting and the provider side. Prior to her appointment with ACHE, Ms. LaMantia served as director of AMITA Health&#8217;s Leadership and Organizational Development Division, where she led strategic initiatives in the areas of organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, performance management, workplace culture and human capital investment. Prior to that, she spent over a decade with The Joint Commission and Joint Commission Resources, where she assumed primary responsibility for all professional development and core competency training of JCR&#8217;s consultant cadre. Ms. LaMantia further developed educational content for Joint Commission&#8217;s public policy symposia and national conferences, working cooperatively with organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; World Health Organization; Occupational Safety and Health Administration; Federal Emergency Management Agency; and the American Red Cross. She has worked with healthcare leaders across multiple industries, focusing on performance improvement, leadership development and succession planning for high potentials. Ms. LaMantia holds a Master of Science degree in counseling psychology from Benedictine University and a Master of Education degree in adult education from Loyola University Chicago.   • Roberta Luskin-Hawk, MD

    <p>Roberta Luskin-Hawk has served as chief executive, St. Joseph Health, Humboldt County, since 2018, leading St. Joseph Hospital, Eureka, a 139-bed regional medical center, and Redwood Memorial Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital. Previously, she served as regional president/CEO for Presence Saint Joseph Hospital, Chicago, and Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, Ill. Dr. Luskin-Hawk&#8217;s administrative career follows her clinical career as an infectious disease specialist, educator, clinical researcher and physician leader. She co-founded one of Chicago&#8217;s first inpatient HIV units at Saint Joseph in 1987, which served thousands of patients from Chicago and its suburbs. In 1989, Dr. Luskin-Hawk successfully sought National Institutes of Health funding and founded AIDS Research Alliance, Chicago, an independent, not-for-profit clinical research consortium, where she served as principal investigator for 15 years. Her work has been recognized by the Catholic Health Association, from which she received a Mid-Career Award, and by <em>Becker&#8217;s Hospital Review</em>, which named her one of &#8220;52 Women Hospital and Healthcare Leaders&#8221; who &#8220;demonstrate outstanding leadership in the hospital and healthcare industry&#8221; and one of 300 Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know. Dr. Luskin-Hawk earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Doctor of Medicine degree with honors from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency, where she served as chief resident, at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center, and she completed her infectious disease fellowship at the University of Chicago Medical Center.</p>

He has 15 years of experience in management consulting, including over 10 years of experience in healthcare delivery. His work with hospitals, health systems and large physician groups includes enterprise strategy development, ambulatory network development, physician group strategy, patient access and throughput, service line strategy and operations, mergers and acquisition evaluation, and academic-community partnership development. Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Mr. Salierno was a consultant and project manager for two consulting firms. Working at a global management consulting firm, he specialized in hospital revenue cycle management. As a firm-designated expert in front-end patient flow, he led teams to design and implement processes and software related to patient scheduling, preregistration, registration, collections, and ED workflows to improve hospital financial and operational performance. At a Chicago-based management consultancy, Mr. Salierno managed projects focused on organization redesign and workforce planning. Mr. Salierno earned a Master of Business Administration degree in finance and health enterprise management from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.     <p style="0in;.0001pt; normal"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif;">It was growing up as a &#8220;preacher&#8217;s kid&#8221; that initially ignited Carla Stanley&#8217;s desire to become a nurse. The years she spent tirelessly working alongside her parents and siblings in the church laid the groundwork for her ultimately choosing the healthcare profession. Ms. Stanley started her career at the bedside working in the urban landscape of Gary, Ind. There, she learned the intricacies of navigating the red tape of bureaucracy in an environment where resources were low but addiction, illiteracy and unemployment were high. From there, she went on to hold numerous positions, including staff nurse in acute/critical care, unit manager, acute/critical care division director, director of nursing, CNO, and senior vice president of clinical services. Ms. Stanley earned an associate in applied science degree in business from Commonwealth Business College; an associate degree in nursing from Purdue University; a bachelor&#8217;s degree in nursing from Valparaiso University; and a master&#8217;s degree in business administration with a focus in healthcare from American Sentinel University. She aspires to obtain a doctoral degree. Ms. Stanley has earned Nurse Executive, Advanced Certification (NEA-BC) and Nurse Executive, Board Certification (NE-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She stays relevant in her profession and in her community through volunteerism, serving as a board member on the Preterm Birth Initiative, as an educator for the Alzheimer&#8217;s Association, and as a mentor in ACHE&#8217;s formal mentorship program, to name a few. She is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.</span></p>

    <p>Steven M. Berkowitz is chief physician executive for Northern Light Health, based in Bangor, Maine. As a member of the senior management team, he has matrixed responsibilities for NLH&#8217;s senior physician executives and overall quality. He also serves as president of NLH&#8217;s 1,200-member statewide medical group. Board certified in internal medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Berkowitz has over 25 years&#8217; experience in healthcare management and consulting. He is founder/president of SMB Health Consulting, specializing in clinical and operational performance improvement for healthcare systems and leadership development for administrators, physicians and trustees. Previously, for 13 years he served as CMO of St. David&#8217;s Healthcare, a six-hospital system in Austin, Texas. In 2008, St. David&#8217;s won the Texas Award for Performance Excellence, and in 2014, it was awarded the Malcolm Baldrige Award. Prior to this position, Dr. Berkowitz was national practice leader for Physician Services with the Hay Group. He also has served as medical director of Harris Methodist Health System&#8217;s HMO and as the system&#8217;s CMO. In 2014, Dr. Berkowitz was appointed by Texas Governor Rick Perry to serve as chairman of the board of the Texas Institute for Healthcare Quality and Efficiency. Her career spans more than 25 years in healthcare, covering a variety of professional settings, including academia, professional association, regulatory compliance, consulting and the provider side. Prior to her appointment with ACHE, Ms. LaMantia served as director of AMITA Health&#8217;s Leadership and Organizational Development Division, where she led strategic initiatives in the areas of organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, performance management, workplace culture and human capital investment. Prior to that, she spent over a decade with The Joint Commission and Joint Commission Resources, where she assumed primary responsibility for all professional development and core competency training of JCR&#8217;s consultant cadre. Ms. LaMantia further developed educational content for Joint Commission&#8217;s public policy symposia and national conferences, working cooperatively with organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; World Health Organization; Occupational Safety and Health Administration; Federal Emergency Management Agency; and the American Red Cross. She has worked with healthcare leaders across multiple industries, focusing on performance improvement, leadership development and succession planning for high potentials. Ms. LaMantia holds a Master of Science degree in counseling psychology from Benedictine University and a Master of Education degree in adult education from Loyola University Chicago. She has served as an executive coach and counselor at both universities. Ms. LaMantia holds Board Certification in Healthcare Management from ACHE. She maintains Green Belt and Change Management Certifications.</p>

She has more than 18 years&#8217; experience as a physician assistant and nearly nine years&#8217; experience as an administrative leader, including having served as vice president of operations and director of advanced practice clinicians for a large healthcare organization. Orlikoff is president of Orlikoff &amp; Associates Inc., a consulting firm specializing in healthcare governance, leadership, strategy, quality, patient safety and system development. He serves as the National Advisor on Governance and Leadership to the American Hospital Association and Health Forum.</div><div>&nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div>Mr. Orlikoff has been involved in leadership, quality and strategy issues for more than 40 years. He has consulted with hospitals and systems in 12 countries, and has worked with hospital and system governing boards to strengthen their overall effectiveness and their oversight of strategy and quality. He has worked extensively on improving the relationships between boards, medical staff and management. He has written 15 books and more than 100 articles, and he has served on hospital, college and civic boards. He is currently the chair of the board of the St. Charles Health System, Bend, Ore. He also served as the vice chair of the Virginia Mason Health System Board in Seattle. His book, Board Work: Governing Health Care Organizations, won the ACHE James A.     <p>Nancy Tinsley is the president of Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, a Baldrige Award-winning hospital and member of the Advocate Aurora Healthcare System. Her executive work focuses on strategic planning, clinical and systems integration, physician alignment, and the advancement of healthcare services across the continuum throughout the health system and community. She has advanced experience in performance improvement, business analytics, systems thinking and leadership development. Ms. Tinsley has authored, published and presented nationally on the development and implementation of system models for clinical institutes, focusing on the strategic, improvement and systems approaches to the design. This model was identified by University Health Systems Consortium as a nationally recognized model for clinical institutes. Ms. Tinsley holds Master of Business Administration and Master of Healthcare Administration degrees from Cleveland State University. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, with a clinical background in critical care and trauma. She is a certified leadership coach and promotes strength in careers and leadership teams.     <p>Dr. Leslie Wainwright is a nationally recognized strategist, educator and innovation leader who brings over two decades of experience applying design thinking to complex challenges in healthcare and beyond. As a frequent speaker and faculty member with the American College of Healthcare Executives, she has educated thousands of executives on how human-centered innovation tools can drive meaningful, measurable change; her work has guided leadership teams spanning from major health systems to local start-ups. Dr. Wainwright currently serves as faculty for the ACHE seminar “Applying Thinking to Healthcare’s Most Pressing Challenges.” Her expertise includes healthcare delivery, biotechnology, advanced analytics and entrepreneurship.</p><p>Dr. Wainwright was a founding executive of several pioneering organizations, including Sg2 and AVIA and Do Tank, where she currently serves as partner and senior strategist. Her approach blends deep scientific training with practical strategy expertise.</p><p>As an accomplished educator, Dr. Wainwright has designed award-winning executive education programs, including the Rush University Leadership Academy in collaboration with the Illinois Hospital Association. She has shared her expertise through keynote roles at the Hospital Association of Southern California, the ACHE Chapter Leaders Conference and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Healthcare Transformation Delegation.
