Congress Offers Session on Financial Sustainability
With all the financial challenges facing healthcare systems, having a comprehensive, proactive and sustainable fiscal strategy in place is critical for hospitals and healthcare systems. Join us at the Congress on Healthcare Leadership Wednesday, March 27 for “Leadership Insights: Financial Sustainability for the Next Phase of Healthcare.”
This innovative session features leading experts in the field, including: Joanne Conroy, MD, president and CEO, Dartmouth Health; Daniel Morissette, CPA, senior executive vice president and CFO, CommonSpirit Health; and Lisa Goldstein, senior vice president, Kaufman Hall.
Discover what solutions these experts recommend for healthcare leaders to stay ahead of the financial curve. Learn how to move from the reactive but necessary stage of financial recovery, and transition into long-term, proactive financial health and sustainability. Understand the variety of factors that produce roadblocks and substantial reimbursement challenges, leaving some healthcare organizations stuck in reactive planning.
By the end of the session, you’ll gain insights into current and future trends in the healthcare financial landscape. You’ll also be able to identify strategies for moving from reactive financial planning to proactive financial sustainability.

ACHE Day of Giving: Advancing Healthcare Leadership Excellence
Join us for ACHE’s fourth annual Day of Giving on Tuesday, Feb. 13. Your generous donation to The Fund for Healthcare Leadership helps ACHE provide scholarships to members to become leaders in our field. Together we can further advance healthcare leadership excellence.
The Fund wholly supports the Thomas C. Dolan Executive Diversity Program and the Career Accelerator Program. The EDP is a six-month program designed for leaders in senior executive roles or those in C-suite positions who aspire to higher levels or larger responsibility roles. The CAP is designed for diverse leaders in manager or director-level positions to support their career advancement.
ACHE is also on a mission to raise $1 million by March of 2025 for the $1 Million Campaign for Healthcare Leaders of Tomorrow. To learn about the impact giving has, meet our Dolan EDP Scholarship recipients or visit ache.org/DayofGiving.
Podcast: Using Innovation to Transform Healthcare
Join us for a dynamic discussion about the future of healthcare, with two leading healthcare innovators: Cheryl Pegus, MD, managing director, Morgan Health Ventures, and Marc Harrison, MD, co-founder and CEO, Health Assurance Transformation Corporation.
In, “What It Will Take to Transform Healthcare,” Pegus and Harrison note that despite formidable challenges, hospitals and health systems stand on the brink of transformative change. Our experts believe there exists a tangible opportunity for healthcare systems to not only survive but thrive. They advocate that success in this evolving landscape mandates that healthcare leaders adopt a stance of strategic audacity and creativity.
Hear their personal stories, and learn why they advocate that it is imperative to foster innovation, optimize financial outcomes and solidify their indispensable role as the principal conduit of patient care.
You can also join our podcast guests in person at the Congress on Healthcare Leadership, as they lead the Hot Topic discussion: “Transcending Change—What It Will Take to Truly Transform Healthcare,” Wednesday, March 27, from 7–8:30 a.m.
