Postgraduate Fellow Sherie Yoon: Someone You Should Know

Sherie Yoon’s passion is contributing to her community through healthcare management. She has been inspired on this journey by her father, who has served in the military as an orthopedic technician and a nurse.

Sherie is ACHE’s 2024–2025 Stuart A. Wesbury Jr. Postgraduate Administrative Fellow. The fellowship was established in 1991 to further postgraduate education in healthcare and professional society management. It provides exposure to a broad range of association management issues and one-on-one interaction with senior-level executives as the fellow explores issues of importance to ACHE and its members.

Sherie joined ACHE as a student member at the start of her graduate program and regularly consumed ACHE educational content, connected with other members at chapter events and attended the annual Congress on Healthcare Leadership. “I loved my time and engagement with ACHE as a student,” she says, and sees the fellowship as an opportunity to give back.

Sherie hopes to work on the use of AI in healthcare and is also interested in “addressing burnout and creating a diverse inclusive workforce.”

Get to know her in “6 Questions With ACHE’s Administrative Fellow, Sherie Yoon,” featured on the ACHE Blog.
