Share the Value of ACHE Today, Earn Points for Rewards

Did you know that when you refer colleagues to join or help them earn their FACHE® credential, you’ll earn points to redeem for ACHE-branded items or discount coupons? Attracting new members to ACHE increases the depth and breadth of our community, thus helping to advance our profession. To thank you for your recruitment efforts, the Leader-to-Leader Rewards Program rewards you with ACHE-branded merchandise or discount coupons. Merchandise includes items such as ACHE face masks and an ultraviolet light phone sanitizer with wireless charging pad. Use the referral form to share details about membership or forward this email to those you believe can benefit from all that ACHE has to offer.

To earn points, your name must be listed as the referral on a new Member application or an FACHE application. Once the membership is activated or all Fellow requirements have been met, you will receive points to redeem for rewards. Points expire the year after they are earned on Dec. 31. Log in to your My ACHE account to see if points earned are expiring soon. If you have any questions, please contact the Customer Service Center at (312) 4240-9400 or email contact@ache.org.

We are proud to offer this benefit and encourage members to participate in the Leader-to-Leader Rewards Program by referring a colleague to join or become a Fellow. Thank you for being part of the ACHE community.

Fostering Positive Working Relationships Between Nurses and Physicians

Each year, May 12th—Florence Nightingale’s birthday—anchors the American Nurses Association’s celebration of National Nurses Week (May 6–12) and the International Council of Nurses’ celebration of International Nurses Day (May 12). In a recent ACHE blog post written by nursing executive Timothy M. Carrigan, PhD, RN, FACHE, CNO, Loyola Medicine, he offers three best practices to foster an environment of collaboration and positive working relationships between nurses and physicians, even during the most difficult times. Carrigan also writes about the importance of healthcare organizations taking care of our caregivers, especially as we try to move forward from the pandemic.

At ACHE, we appreciate the lifesaving work of healthcare professionals 365 days a year, but this week, especially, we invite you to join us and the organizations that host these events in thanking nurses for their tireless and compassionate work.
