Workforce Solutions for Today and the Future
With personnel shortages ranking No. 1 on the list of hospital CEOs’ top concerns in 2021, workforce-related solutions are needed now more than ever. The 2022 Congress on Healthcare Leadership and the Virtual Leadership Symposium both offer a variety of sessions to help healthcare leaders address workforce challenges. Following are previews from both events.
- Join Nancy Snyderman, MD, physician and former chief medical editor for NBC News, for the Malcolm T. MacEachern Memorial Address & Luncheon: Workforce Solutions for the Modern World of Healthcare as she explores a variety of workforce solutions worth contemplating.
- Lloyd Dean, CEO of CommonSpirit Health, will delve into how healthcare jobs are changing during Leadership Insights: Shaping the Future Workforce.
- Bringing a holistic perspective from inside some of the world’s leading organizations, Ginny Clarke, former executive recruiter, Google, will explore effective approaches for recruiting and retaining strong talent in the healthcare workforce during the Hot Topic: Recruiting and Retaining Key Talent in the New Age of Work.
- Those attending the Virtual Leadership Symposium will also have an opportunity to hear Clarke speak during that event’s closing session as she shares leadership strategies for creating disruption-proof high-performing teams.
- Leveraging a Virtual Workforce to Improve Engagement and Reduce Burnout—offered at both Congress and the Virtual Leadership Symposium—will examine a framework to create a virtual work environment for your organization that results in workforce engagement.
Visit ache.org/Congress to explore all of this year’s offerings, and be sure to register by March 7 for early bird registration prices. Congress registrants who are interested in attending the Virtual Leadership Symposium, April 11–12, can register for that event with a discount of more than 50% off the regular fee by adding it to their in-person Congress registration, or you can register separately for just the Virtual Leadership Symposium.
